Matty drove in on Friday from Stillwater to join in on the festivities.
My poor baby was diagnosed with an ear infection last friday. He was tugging at his ear and fussier than usual when my parents arrived. Mom encouraged me to take him to the doctor. It was so nice to have both of my parents here for the doctor's visit, since Matt had to work. The pediatrician said he had a small blood blister on his left eardrum. He has been on antibiotics for a week now, and is doing much better. He LOVES the taste of amoxicillin and cries for more after I give him his daily dose!
Matt has been up to more projects around the house! Yesterday, on his day off, he repaired the clutch on his Mustang! He also installed a new power outlet in the garage and moved the garage-door sensors down low so the door would be "baby proof". He secured the wood beam in the ceiling better (above pic), and moved a lot of the power cords that were just dangling from the ceiling before. Everything he did looks completely professional! He purchased a lawn equipment organizer that he plans to hang this week. He also hung a new light in the back of the garage, where it was pretty dark before.
Above is the new outlet he installed.
Here are the garage door sensors, now down low. For some reason, they were placed up high when we moved in. Now, if a little guy scoots under the door, it will pop back up!
New outlet with concealed wiring.
Here's Uncle Matt with the Colburn kids just before bed one night:)

Jack decided to climb a tree while Matt and Todd were out on an errand. He got stuck and called to us for help. I snapped a pic while Jen helped him down.

We don't have a great set-up yet for 4 little ones to eat! They didn't mind eating breakfast on the kitchen floor, though!

We still have Brandi and Tory's scooter, so we took advantage of free entertainment!
Grandma Tracy bought this adorable hammer set for William before he was born. He loves to pound on the little pegs now!! His cousin Ben showed him how it was done.

Jack is riding on the back of the scooter and waving as Matt drove by!
He was a little nervous at first.
Here's Hank on his first ride!
Benny was so sweet with Will. The kids always refer to him as "baby Will".

We went to Forest Park for a picnic on a beautiful day! The kids had tons of fun. Matt wasn't able to go because he had to work.

We took a break at the Forest Park Boat House.

Even mom took a ride on the scooter! Matt drove through a neighborhood with beautiful houses and mom had a great time.

William got an adorable navy polo shirt from Grandma Mary. He looks super handsome in it!

Matt is showing Matty how to drive the scooter before he takes off.

Another cute GAP outfit from Grandma Mary!

Will is pulling up on everything now! The minute I sit him on the floor, he is looking around for something to pull up on! He started cruising yesterday, from one piece of furniture to the next. He is getting pretty steady holding on with just one hand, too.

He fell asleep in his Johnny Jump-up while I was cooking dinner!

Looks like lots of fun! Will and Samuel are little twinkies. We love Grandma!
