Jogging Stroller!!

This morning Will and I went garage-saling with our friends Joy and baby Emma. I found a double jogging stroller (swivel front!) for $5!! On Babies R Us' website, they sell for $174.99. There is a tear in one of the seats, so I am looking around to see if I can buy a replacement cover for the seat. If not, I'll probably just sew it up myself. Now Will and his friend Emma can ride together when we go for walks! It will also be great to have when Will gets a baby brother or sister, too ;)

Hopefully the weather will cool down soon, so we can go walking again. It has been really hot here the past few days. Yesterday, the A/C in my car quit working. It just started blowing hot air! Matt was on-call, but he told us to come and get his car. We really appreciated Daddy driving around in the heat so that we could be comfortable in his car! He really takes good care of us!

Matt came home from work this morning and said that one of his patients started crying today and told him how much he appreciated him! I'm sure it's not very often you see a big, tough Veteran break down and cry to his doctor! He said he can tell that some people care more than others and that Matt was one of those people. This complement came at the end of a 30-hour shift. It amazes me that Matt can take such good care of his patients and still show kindness and compassion after hours and hours of no sleep! Will and I are lucky to have you, Matt, and we love you so much!

Will is pulling up very easily now, even on flat surfaces like the cabinets.

It also came with a storage area that hangs underneath, but I removed it to throw in the wash.
