Secret Beach

We had some friends from St. Louis stay with us this past week. They don't have kids, so they were able to do a lot of exploring that Matt and I hadn't done. They found some great places that we're pretty excited about. Yesterday we went with them to Secret Beach. They said it was their favorite spot on the island. You have to hike a little ways to get to the beach, but it was well worth it. When we got there in the morning, there was no one else on the beach. We had a great time!

Anna slept most of the time, but woke up happy. Here she is relaxing on some lava rock.

The lava rock created little pools from the waves crashing up on the shore. They were great "Will-sized" pools!

It was a little chilly in the shade. Will had blue lips and teeth chattering, but you couldn't keep him away from the water! He loved it!

Will also loved our friend, Chris. He hugged him all the time and was sad to see them go.

Our friend, Kelly, got this shot just as a huge wave crashed onto the lava rock.

He sat down for a little while with Chris' shirt on. The crab next to him is dead, by the way.

Anna wasn't as impressed...

We saw beautiful waterfalls! Will was super impressed!

Gettin sleepy, but not ready to stop!

Will was soaked in the first minute we got there!

Had to get a shot of him in our cabinets. It's his new favorite spot in our Hawaii home!
