Long Overdue Pictures

It's been awhile since we last posted, so I have a lot of pictures to share! Since the weather has been nice, we've been playing in the backyard and going to parks a lot. William LOVES being outside! We're looking forward to a fun summer!

He can climb into chairs on his own now.

Every time we're out, he always finds a big stick to carry around.

We went to Jackson, MO, last weekend to visit our friends Brandi and Tory on the farm. William loves his puppy friends, Sterling and Sydney. When they get out of their bed, he loves to get in it! He's doing a great job of petting gently. We're learning the word "gentle" before sister gets here!

We got to visit the farm and see real tractors! William rode in the cab with Matt and Tory. He was a little scared when he looked down and saw me so far away, but he quickly adjusted and had a great time. We have a book of tractors that Will asks me to read about 4 times per day. He has memorized the different kinds of equipment and can point to the right ones when you read to him. So, seeing everything in person was quite a treat!

William was amazed to see the cows up close. He wasn't afraid at all and kept pointing, trying to talk to them.

Matt got to do a little work with Tory, driving the tractor around. I think he was as excited as Will!

On the drive down, Will got pretty fussy. So we gave him a chocolate covered granola bar and let him go to town! He made quite a mess, but it kept him happy for about 30 minutes :)

We went to the zoo last week when the

weather was nice. This year, Will is really into seeing all of the animals. Here, we were looking at an elephant take a drink of water, really close to us.

Snoozing with monkey. He loves snuggling up to monkey at night. When he gets up in the

morning, he always wants me to get monkey out of bed, too.

I watched my friends little girl, Emery, the other day. William loved having a friend to play with, but Emery was more interested in watching Dora on TV. I don't think Will noticed that she wasn't paying attention to him at all!
