Company Picnic and Construction Trucks

A couple of weeks ago, The hospital hosted a picnic at the park for its employees.  They had hot dogs, hamburgers, sno-cones (Hawaiian's call it shave ice), and cotton candy.  Will's favorite part was the giant water slides.  I've never seen inflatable slides this big!  We stayed well past naptime, but Will had a blast.

First, here's a shot of little sister in the highchair.

Will puts this floatie on his head all the time to make me laugh, so I had to get a shot of it.

Sister is getting good at putting up with Will's silliness.

There's an industrial district across the street from us, and they have tons of construction vehicles.  We've been walking through there lately, and this time we let him sit on a few of the cool trucks.  We got in trouble after about 30 minutes, though, so I guess we won't be sitting on them again.  All week, Will has been saying, "The man said no, no, no!  And you need to go, go, go!"  He was actually a lot nicer than that, but
that's how he remembers it!

Here's Will coming off of one of the inflatables at the park.

Look at how huge these things are!

Waiting in line for the bouncy house.

They called Matt to the stage for the donut eating contest.  Guess who won?  That's right, my man!                       So proud!

  1. Matt, you should put your donut eating contest achievement on your fellowship application. Bury it in the middle of all the research and work experience you've done at Wilcox Hospital. :)
